TYPE OF CAMP: Day Camp.
CAMPER GENDER(S): Coed Campers.
CAMP INSTRUCTIONAL ACTIVITIES OFFERED:
Dance, Musical Theater, and more.
CAMP LOCATION: We are located just across the 2nd narrows bridge off highway #1
CAMP FACILITIES: We have 6 dance studios, a physio and rehab room, pilates studio, student lounges and washroom facilities.
CAMP PROGRAM INFO: A fun filled week that offers a combo of ballet, jazz, modern, tap, acrobatics, song & dance and more.
You can hone your skills and try a few “new somethings” all in one week!
Monday/Wednesday:
9.30 - 10.15:Ballet
10.15 - 10.30: Snack &Crafts
10.30 - 11.30: Acrobatics
11.30 - 11.45: Snack &Crafts
11.45 - 12.30: Jazz
Tuesday/Thursday:
9.30 - 10.15: Ballet
10.15 - 10.30: Snack & Crafts
10.30 - 11.30: Song & Dance
11.30 - 11.45: Snack & Crafts
11.45 - 12.30: Modern
Friday:
9.30 - 10.15: Ballet
10.15 - 10.30: Snack & Crafts
10.30 - 11.30: Tap
11.30 - 11.45: Snack & Crafts
11.45 - 12.15: Rehearsal
12.15- 12.30: Parent Presentation
Experienced and qualified teachers:
Meanie Dance (FISTD) and Kim Dixon (AISTD).
YEAR-ROUND PROGRAMS: Stars 1: Ages 4 & 5, Minimum 3 classes
Pre Primary Ballet
Primary Modern
Future Stars Choreography
Children are able to take classes in Tap and/or Acrobatics as optional electives
Future Stars 2: Ages 6 – 9, Minimum 4 classes
Primary Ballet OR Grade 1/2 Ballet (Grade 1 and 2 Ballet is twice per week)
Grade 1 Modern OR Grade 2 Modern
Future Stars Choreography
Tap, Acrobatics or Musical Theatre (must be 8 for Musical Theatre)
Children in Grade 2 ballet are required to take a 30 minute Dance Conditioning class
